Manufacturing Engineer – Hayes, Middlesex
A leading engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Hayes, Middlesex is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their high-performing team. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transition of advanced product designs into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the entire product lifecycle—from initial concept and prototyping to full production—ensuring products are manufactured to the highest quality standards. Working in a cross‑functional team environment, the role demands both technical knowledge and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Produce manufacturing flow diagrams and estimate manpower requirements.
* Design fixtures, tooling, and packaging for manufacturability.
* Support the transition of new products into operations.
* Generate manufacturing instructions and technical rework documentation.
Qualifications & Eligibility
* Experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the aerospace or defence sector.
* Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and packaging.
* Excellent communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
* Security clearance (SC) required or eligibility for clearance.
