About the role
Retail is a fantastic career start within the service or fashion industry. We seek a fun-loving, chatty individual who values customer service. Your role will be based in a busy schuh store, providing excellent service, maintaining high standards of presentation & display, and handling stock, cash, and administration efficiently.
You will learn to:
* Customer Service: Deliver personalized service, greet and listen to customers, react quickly to needs, handle complaints politely, and promote products and services.
* Merchandising & Display: Understand store layout, merchandise effectively, and keep displays tidy and correctly priced.
* Cash Handling & Administration: Process sales, refunds, and exchanges following company policies.
* Stock Management: Receive deliveries, conduct stock counts, organize stock transfer, and ensure safety and security.
* Commercial Awareness: Know sales targets, suggest improvements, and stay aware of product performance and competition.
* Miscellaneous: Follow health & safety policies, and carry out additional duties as assigned.
This role involves working towards a Retail Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard over 15 months.
