About Us
Carr Gomm is a leading social care and community development charity supporting people across Argyll & Bute to live independently, safely, and well in their own homes. We are currently recruiting Support Practitioners for the following services in Oban:

Shift patterns vary depending on people’s needs, from 7am – 11pm.
* Homecare – Support people after longer hospital stays, helping them settle safely back at home. This involves close collaboration with social work, district nurses, and other professionals, usually supporting people over a six‑week period.
Shift Patterns: 8am – 1.30pm and/or 4pm – 9.30pm.
* Responders – Respond to Telecare alarms 24/7, helping people in emergencies such as falls. This fast‑paced role involves dynamic risk assessments, quick problem‑solving, and using specialist equipment such as ELK cushions.
Shift Patterns: 7am – 3pm and/or 3pm – 11pm, plus 11pm – 7am waking nights.
