Strategic Marketing Leader Wanted to Drive ULaw's Growth
At The University of Law (ULaw), we are passionate about shaping the future of education. With a rapidly expanding portfolio of Schools and programmes, we are looking for an experienced and visionary Head of School Propositions Development to lead the way in defining, positioning, and communicating our academic offerings to diverse audiences in the UK and internationally.
This is a strategically critical leadership role that sits within our Marketing & Sales team, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Sales. You will act as the driving force behind new school and programme propositions, ensuring they are insight-led, market-aligned, and differentiated in an increasingly competitive higher education landscape.
This is a brand new role on an 18 month fixed term contract. You will work either fully remotely from a UK location or the role can adapt a hybrid working approach to either our Woking or London campuses. Please specify your preference in your application.
As ourHead of School Propositions Development, you will be:
* Leading the development of integrated marketing propositions for ULaw's new Schools and programmes, aligning with our growth ambitions.
* Translating learner insights, market intelligence, and competitor research into compelling propositions that resonate with domestic and international students.
* Driving go-to-market strategies for launches, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all channels.
* Partnering with academic, recruitment, and product teams to shape new initiatives and deliver marketing campaigns that enhance student recruitment and retention.
* Acting as a strategic brand guardian, ensuring every proposition reflects ULaw's identity, values, and student-first approach.
* Supporting international growth by adapting propositions for global audiences and developing targeted market-entry strategies.
Is this you?
We're looking for an innovative and commercially minded marketing leader with:
* A strong track record in new product and proposition development from research through to launch.
* Extensive experience in B2C marketing, ideally within higher education, training, or a regulated learning environment.
* Proven ability to manage full marketing lifecycle campaigns, including student acquisition, engagement, and retention.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to influence at senior level and work cross-functionally.
* Strong data-driven decision-making, budget management, and project management capabilities.
* A collaborative and ambitious mindset, with the ability to challenge convention and bring fresh ideas.
