Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Location of role: Lime House
Rate of Pay: £25,905.73 - £28,410.65 per annum, pro rata
Role Description:
We are seeking a Care Supervisor for Lime House, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred respite care. Your responsibilities will include promoting the dignity, independence, and well-being of residents while managing care staff to ensure the home operates smoothly. In the absence of the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the service. You will oversee the provision of daily personal care, ensuring that the individual needs and preferences of residents are honoured. Additionally, you will engage in care planning, participate in reviews, and assist with resident admissions and discharges, while also supporting the training and development of junior staff and ensuring adherence to safeguarding and equality policies.
Experience & Skills:
* A successful applicant will have experience in delivering and supervising care within a residential or respite setting.
* You’ll need strong leadership skills, the ability to work independently, and a compassionate, person-centred approach.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, along with the confidence to liaise with families, professionals, and external agencies.
* You should also have a good understanding of medication management, safeguarding, and health and safety practices.
* An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is required, or the willingness to undertaken.
