Part Time Accounts Assistant

Hours: 15–20 per week, Monday – Friday

A well‑established organisation is seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant to support with day‑to‑day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent administrative skills, and confidence working within a busy, process‑driven environment. The successful candidate must be available to work reduced hours across all five weekdays (Monday to Friday).
What you'll be doing
* Providing day‑to‑day support across finance and administrative activities
* Handling purchase invoices and keeping supplier information up to date
* Tracking outstanding balances and managing credit control
* Making sure payments are received within required timeframes
* Completing daily bank reconciliations
* Preparing and sending sales invoices
* Keeping financial documentation organised and compliant
* Assisting with month‑end and year‑end reporting tasks
What we're looking for
* Exceptional attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy
* Highly organised with effective time‑management abilities
* Skilled in Excel, including V‑Lookups and Pivot Tables
* Clear, confident communicator with a professional manner
* Comfortable working both independently and within a team
* Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and compliance requirements
