HSEQ Account Lead Contract: HSEQ Location: Weybridge - with regional travel Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a HSEQ Account Lead to enable high-performing, safe and sustainable operations by providing hands-on HSEQ support to a nominated Account team.​ The role drives the implementation of the ISS Way across the contract, benchmarking performance and leading targeted improvements that strengthen health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes. Job Description Through expert guidance, proactive engagement and visible leadership, the HSEQ Account Lead elevates operational standards and embeds a culture of continual improvement across the Account, Operating Unit and wider portfolio. The role is critical to protecting people, enhancing service performance and strengthening ISS’ reputation for dependable, high-quality, safety-focused facilities support. Key Responsibilities Deliver the implementation of the UK HSEQ strategy, policy, business plan and arrangements across the account, ensuring measurable improvements in safety, quality and environmental performance. Act as the lead subject matter expert on all HSEQ matters, providing expert advice, robust incident investigation and high-quality internal auditing. Lead, manage and develop HSEQ Advisors and Consultants, enabling effective operational support and high standards of delivery. Review, maintain and continuously improve Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality management systems, ensuring compliance and operational consistency. Deliver and manage the internal and client audit programme aligned to ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Drive subcontractor management standards, ensuring HSEQ compliance and effective risk management across the supply chain. Build and maintain strong working relationships with the ISS Account Director and ISS Technical teams to support operational excellence. Analyse and communicate HSEQ data, insights and KPIs to inform decision-making, drive performance improvement and prevent service failures. Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Facilities Management experience within a HSEQ environment. NEBOSH qualification. Proven ability to inspire and influence teams, embedding a culture where safety, quality and environmental stewardship are integral to daily operations. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels across client and internal organisations. Demonstrates leadership skills. Additional Information Manages a team of three HSEQ Advisors. Travel required to Weybridge, ISS offices and other client sites in line with business needs. Full UK driving licence required.
