Multi Skilled Site Operator (Anaerobic Digestion) - Northampton - £35,000 + Overtime Available
The Job:
We are currently seeking 2 Multi Skilled Site Operators to join a busy Anaerobic Digestion (AD) facility in Northampton. This is a hands on role requiring a proactive individual with experience in plant operations, maintenance and process control. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of the production line, meeting performance targets, and maintaining high operational standards across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the AD plant to ensure optimal performance
- Supervise and control systems via SCADA to maintain production efficiency
- Carry out routine maintenance and basic fault finding
- Operate machinery including telehandler and loading shovel
- Ensure health & safety and environmental compliance at all times
- Assist with feedstock handling and general site duties
- Participate in on-call rota to support site operations
The Candidate:
- Previous experience within an Anaerobic Digestion (AD) or similar process environment
- Multi skilled with both operational and maintenance capabilities
- Valid licence/experience operating a telehandler and loading shovel
- Computer literate with experience using SCADA systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Flexible and reliable with a strong work ethic
Working Hours:
- Minimum 50 hours per week
- Shifts available Monday to Friday between 4:00am and 8:00pm
- Regular overtime available
- On-call duty on a rota basis

All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role applied for. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
