Administrative & Logistics Assistant
Location: Great Yarmouth
Job Type: Full-time
Hourly Rate: £12.75 per hour plus holiday pay but flexible for the right person
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 08:30 - 17:00 (30 mins lunch), Friday early finish
Responsibilities
* Cover front-of-house reception duties, ensuring a professional first point of contact.
* General Administration support to the team
* Manage customers end to end from initial enquiry and quotation through to shipping
* Handle ordering and logistics, including shipping in and out and around the world, raising purchase orders (POs) and invoices on ERP systems.
* Manage orders/clients end-to-end and be the main point of contact for customers.
* Review orders for special requirements and ensure what is received on the purchase order matches what has been quoted and what is on the system.
* Coordinate terms and conditions with customers, ensuring they are agreed upon and sent.
* Send order acknowledgements and manage shipping orders/customs procedures for each country.
* Invoice orders and prepare Vendor Data Books/Certifications of goods, compile and send.
* Role expansion and merging within the team to manage projects from start to finish.
Qualifications
* Strong teamwork and self-initiative.
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Exceptional multitasking skills and a proactive attitude.
* Strong communication skills across various platforms (phone, email, face-to-face).
* Understanding of Inco Terms and general shipping/customs procedures is beneficial.
* Experience with ERP systems for raising POs and invoices.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt within a varied role.
