Overview
We are a CQC-compliant care provider seeking experienced and compassionate Care Assistants to support clients in their own homes. You will play a vital role in promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing while delivering person-centred care in line with individual care plans.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care, including bathing, showering, dressing, and grooming
* Assist with mobility and transfers, using equipment where required and following moving & handling guidelines
* Administer medication in accordance with care plans and company policy
* Prepare meals and assist with feeding as required
* Carry out light domestic duties including cleaning, hoovering, and laundry
* Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and social isolation
* Assist with shopping, appointments, and essential errands
* Maintain accurate, timely care records in line with CQC standards
* Report any changes in a client\'s health or wellbeing to the appropriate supervisor
* Always respect clients\' dignity, privacy, choices, and independence
Requirements
* Previous care experience is essential
* Full UK driving licence
* Own vehicle required (travelling between care calls is essential)
* Good communication and time-management skills
* A caring, professional, and reliable approach
* Commitment to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care
