Join our team as Community Engagement Project Officer. We're looking for a Community Engagement Project Officer to join our team in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work directly with tenants, residents, and partners on projects that strengthen communities, improve lives, and create lasting positive change.
You'll collaborate with colleagues, partners, and local people to design and deliver initiatives that address local priorities and make a real impact. If you're passionate about people, proactive in finding solutions, and driven to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, deliver, and manage community projects and initiatives
* Act as first point of contact for customers, offering advice, guidance, and signposting
* Support residents with employment, wellbeing, and financial opportunities
* Collect, analyse, and present data for internal and external reporting
* Manage project budgets, monitoring spend and identifying savings
* Draft clear, high-quality documents and responses to information requests
* Promote Equality, Diversity & Inclusion and ensure Health & Safety responsibilities are met
What You'll Need To Succeed
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Experience resolving queries and building positive relationships
* Project management and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt quickly
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint and OneDrive
* A proactive, solution-focused approach with attention to detail
* Housing sector knowledge and awareness of community issues
* Full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle
