Job Description:
Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations. The CQC oversees the safety, effectiveness, and compassion in health services.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Ensure that your assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times to improve customer experience.
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
* Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies, procedures, guidelines, and values.
* Carry out all duties related to cleaning and waste collection within designated premises.
* This role can be physically demanding and may involve lifting.
* Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks such as washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
* Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
* Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Take responsibility for your area, maintaining high standards.
* Contribute to good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
* Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by your line manager.
About You:
* Good time management skills

* Good communication skills
* Enhanced DBS check required
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
