We have an exciting opportunity for a Referral and Fees Co-ordinator to join our Finance team in Darlington on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The Referral and Fees Co-ordinator will provide comprehensive coordination of referrals, contracts administration and fee management activities. The role acts as a single point of contact for referrals while supporting the Commercial Department with fee management, contract compliance and income optimisation activities.

Our services are provided in multiple settings including residential, supported living, rehabilitation, domiciliary care, and care in the home. We hold a strong market position in the continuing complex health care space specifically in the areas of spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, epilepsy, assisted ventilation and other long-term neurological conditions.

What you'll be doing:

Referrals & Contracts Coordination

* Act as a single access point for referral enquiries via telephone and email.
* Coordinate referral processes in line with agreed workflows, service criteria and contractual obligations.
* Liaise with customers and internal teams to progress assessments and admissions within required timescales.
* Ensure funding approval and contractual documentation are in place prior to admission.
* Maintain accurate referral, CRM and contracts databases.
* Produce regular bed status and referral activity reports for stakeholders.

Fees Management & Commercial Support

* Support negotiation and administration of annual fee uplifts with ICBs, Local Authorities and private funders.
* Maintain accurate records of fee agreements and communicate updates to relevant colleagues.
* Track progress of fee uplifts and provide regular reporting on income performance.
* Assist in resolving discrepancies between agreed fees and invoiced income.
* Support ad-hoc income generation and commercial projects as required.

General Responsibilities

* Maintain effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Comply with all regulatory, safeguarding, information governance and GDPR requirements.
* Participate in mandatory training, appraisals and performance reviews.
* Undertake general administrative duties in line with business needs.

What you'll have:

* Previous administration experience within healthcare or a similar environment.
* Strong numerical, written and verbal communication skills.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Confident user of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and CRM systems.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
