About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Inclusion Support Worker to join a supportive primary school setting in South Leeds. This rewarding role focuses on improving educational outcomes and ensuring every child has equal access to learning opportunities. This is a full-time opportunity starting 1st September 2026, for a minimum of a one years contract.

Key Responsibilities
Support pupils on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within whole-class settingsAssist in assessing pupils’ needs and contribute to the planning and implementation of individual support strategiesHelp children overcome barriers to learning, engagement, attendance, and social development.Monitor and record pupil progressBuild positive relationships with pupils and families, helping to create a supportive and inclusive school environmentPrepare and utilise specialist resources, interventions, and equipment to meet individual learning needsSupport children with communication, interaction, cognition, learning, sensory, and complex SEND needsDemonstrate a child-centred approach, ensuring pupils remain at the heart of all decision-making and support strategiesWhat We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, SEMH, or additional learning needsA genuine passion for improving outcomes for children and helping them succeedThe ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamA calm, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting behaviour and learningA commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, equality and professional developmentA growth mindset and a willingness to learn new strategies and approaches to support pupils effectivelyWhy Apply?
