This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the beginning of their IT journey. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of technologies, working directly with an experienced and supportive IT Line Manager and wider team.
What will you be doing?
Your key responsibilities in this role will be:
* Assisting with the build and maintenance of IT equipment including PCs, printers, and scanners
* Assisting in the maintenance of software installations, operating systems, anti-virus software
* Assisting with server folder maintenance and carrying out the physical backup process
* Managing users on the Group domain
* Help Desk Support - troubleshoot technical issues with Group devices
* Assisting with Cyber Security, SharePoint Site maintenance, and IT policies/procedures
* Assisting with basic software development, AI projects, and database maintenance
What we’re looking for?
* Someone who has a genuine interest in IT and a desire to learn
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
* Basic understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and general tech troubleshooting
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
* Hardware maintenance skills
* Valid UK driving license with no points
* Security clearance requirements
* UK nationality

Where will you be working?
Malin Group is based at the South Rotunda building on the South bank of the River Clyde. You will also be required to provide IT support to our second site at Westway Business Park, Renfrew.
