Corporate Banking is a rapidly expanding division within this banks CIB franchise. Actively engage in client relationship management and origination within the sector, working closely with Senior Coverage Bankers.
Support client engagement and business management activities, including client analysis, presentation preparation, submissions to business/credit committees, and assisting in managing team P&L.
Collaborate with key product partners and stakeholders across the bank’s international offices and divisions, supporting client relationships with products such as DCM, ECM, LCM, Derivatives, Securities Financing, Fixed Income sales, Trade Finance, Cash & Custody, and FX.
Ensure a balanced approach to capital returns and risk management as part of optimizing new and existing client relationships.
Assist in preparing internal sector updates following key news or financial results, internal briefing papers, memos for deal committees and credit applications, client account plans, client relationship return models, and high-quality pitch books.
Support the maintenance and input of client activity data and pipeline items into the Client Relationship Management system (e.g., Salesforce).
Provide effective support to Senior Coverage Bankers, aiding in the management of client portfolios, including client interactions and P&L management.
Excellent mathematical, analytical, and corporate finance modeling skills.
Previous experience in a top-tier Corporate or Investment Bank, specifically within a client-facing role, is essential.
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
