Sustainable Talent is working with a Tier 1 contractor on an exciting Substation project in the southwest of England (Bridgewater): Project Details and Duration * The project is a substation next to a much larger project run by another company, which includes a large data centre and an EV battery factory. * The substation is a 400/132 KV substation. * The team has just mobilized the site. * Work currently involves getting the 'danties' in place for overhead lighting connections, followed by civils work. * This is a six-month contract with the possibility of an extension. Role and Responsibilities * The work currently is heavy civil work, and the role is "a little bit of everything". * Once the work begins, it will be a typical Project Engineer role. * The ideal candidate should be able to coordinate across the project, look at two or three work packages, and see the bigger picture—almost thinking like an assistant project manager. * The ideal candidate may have been a Senior Project Engineer in the past.
