Job Summary
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is looking to appoint Postgraduate Education Fellows for 2026‑27 at West Middlesex University Hospital. This one‑year fixed‑term post is for Resident Doctors wishing to develop medical education experience, with clinical opportunities available.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Build personal teaching experience and develop expertise in education theory and practice.
* Undertake supervised educational research.
* Deliver teaching and training sessions for staff and learners.
* Clinical work possible up to half or whole day per week, no mandatory on‑call.
Requirements
Must have:
* Full GMC registration.
* Significant NHS working experience (at least 3 years).
* More senior training level than IMT2/CT2.
* Ability to attend interview (virtual or face‑to‑face) in late June 2026.
* Availability to start any time between August and September 2026.
Qualifications
* Core/StR or SpR in a recognised specialty programme.
* Optional educational qualification such as PGCert or MSc.
Additional Desirables
* Presentation of work at national/international meetings.
* Publications in peer‑reviewed journals.
* Research experience.
* Demonstrated benefit to patient care through education.
* Broad knowledge of academic medicine.

Fixed‑term contract, 12 months, full time, London weighting, salary based on experience.
