Role: Horticulture Lecturer

About the Role:
You'll be responsible for delivering engaging and practical lessons in horticulture across a range of levels, from entry-level courses to more advanced qualifications. The college boasts excellent on-site facilities including greenhouses, gardens, and workshop spaces to support experiential learning. You'll work closely with learners aged 16+ and adult returners, many of whom are preparing for careers in landscape gardening, environmental conservation, or commercial horticulture.
Your duties will include:
Planning and delivering high-quality lessons
Assessing student progress and providing meaningful feedback
Supporting learners with individual needs
Helping maintain the college's horticultural facilities
What We're Looking For:
A relevant teaching qualification (or willingness to achieve one)
Industry experience in horticulture, landscaping, or a related field
Passion for education and student success
Strong communication and classroom management skills
