About the Role:
We don’t hire account managers to keep things ticking over — we hire them to make a measurable difference. As an Account Manager for our Specifier portfolio, you’ll own your customers’ success, retention, and growth. You’ll need the commercial drive to exceed your numbers, the curiosity to dig into a client’s business, and the resilience to manage complex relationships under pressure. This isn’t a role where you wait for the phone to ring — you’ll be out in front, shaping opportunities, securing renewals early, and proving value in every interaction.
This is what you’ll be doing:
* Achieving and smashing renewal and upsell targets.
* Building loyalty and trust by delivering a customer experience they can’t imagine living without.
* Becoming an expert in Hubexo’s NBS portfolio and using it to solve real problems.
* Securing appointments, running high-impact demos, and holding quarterly account reviews that inspire action.
* Tracking industry trends and turning them into growth opportunities before your competitors do.
* Acting as the voice of your customers internally to influence change.
* Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to deliver outcomes, not just activity.
* Representing Hubexo at events, networking opportunities, and client meetings with confidence.
Qualifications and Experience – About You:
* Proven account management track record with retention and upsell wins you can back up with numbers.
* Commercially minded, customer-obsessed, and relentless in pursuit of results.
* Skilled at uncovering needs and translating them into business value.
* A confident negotiator and influencer with gravitas at all levels.
* Exceptional presentation skills — you own the room, whether virtual or in person.
* Organised and resilient — you deliver under pressure without dropping the ball.
* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
* Experience in construction or subscription business (desirable).
* Full UK driving licence (desirable).
