The Successful Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer will provide mechanical repair, service, and testing of industrial hydraulic engineering equipment such as filtration, power packs, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and more at the workshop in Peterborough.
The Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer will ideally have a strong mechanical engineering background such as hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, motors, pumps, valves, lifting gear, powered access, and or similar mechanical engineering products

£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experience

Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer Role
Provide mechanical repair, service, and testing of industrial hydraulic engineering equipment such as filtration, power packs, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders and more at the workshop in Peterborough
Carry out general maintenance & fault diagnosis of hydraulic products and systems at the service centre in Peterborough.
Identify and provide customers with system improvements, upgrades, or general aftercare solutions for hydraulics, power packs, pumps, motors, valves, cylinders
Workshop based in Peterborough
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer Requirements
Proven service skills on mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Service Engineer / Service Technician / Workshop Engineer / Calibration Engineer or similar, ideally within mechanical equipment.
Will ideally have a background in fitting / servicing of hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, motors, pumps, valves, lifting gear, powered access, and or similar mechanical engineering products
Mechanical engineering qualification such as Apprentice trained, HNC, HND, or equivalent would be advantageous.
The ability to read technical manuals, schematics, test procedures would be advantageous.
