Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical) Contract Oxford – Outside IR35 GBPneg
Fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer to work onsite on a large scale healthcare project based in Oxford for initially 2 months.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing and coordinating M&E subcontractors to ensure compliance and quality.
* Be responsible for the mechanical services installation on projects from design through to
* Driving health, safety, and environmental standards across the site.
* Collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Supporting short– and medium–term planning using digital tools and production control techniques.
* Ensuring quality assurance by managing inspection plans and resolving NCRs.
* Proactively identifying design issues and supporting technical delivery.
Who we're looking for
* Experience in M&E construction delivery, ideally on complex building projects.
* Strong leadership skills and ability to manage small teams or packages independently.
* Confident communicator with a collaborative approach to problem–solving.
* Familiar with health and safety regulations and RAMs processes.
* Skilled in short–term planning, logistics coordination, and quality management.
* Passionate about sustainable construction and committed to environmental responsibility.
