Hendy Group has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support our Central Services teams, providing accurate reporting and trusted financial guidance across a multi-site, fast-moving organisation.
TheOpportunity:
This role offers far more than reporting. You will function as a true business partner to central budget holders, helping them make informed decisions through insightful analysis, strong financial challenge, and clear communication. You will play a vital part in ensuring our central overheads are well controlled, our leaders are supported, and the Group continues to grow efficiently and sustainably.
Role responsibilities will include:
Producing monthly management accounts for all central cost centres, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Completing variance analysis with clear, meaningful commentary.
Supporting year-end processes and audit requirements with high-quality evidence.
Working with budget holders to create annual budgets and in-year reforecasts.
Providing insight into cost trends, risks, opportunities, and emerging patterns.
Translating financial information into accessible insight for non-finance colleagues.
Supporting cost-efficiency projects, strategic initiatives, and investment appraisals.
Ensuring compliance with Group financial controls, policies, and audit standards.

About You:
AAT qualified or part/fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
Strong technical accounting skills with confidence preparing journals and accounts
High-level analytical ability and data interrogation skills
Effective communicator, able to explain financial information clearly
Advanced Excel skills and confidence with financial systems
Strong stakeholder-management skills with the ability to challenge constructively
Able to work accurately to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
