The team is friendly and professional, with direct reporting to the Finance Manager to ensure efficient financial management.</p><h3>About you</h3><ul><li>Qualified or Part Qualified Accounts Technician (AAT or IATI)</li><li>At least 2 years experience in a busy finance setting</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel</li><li>Keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills</li><li>Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented attitude</li><li>Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritise effectively</li><li>Legally authorised to work in the UK</li></ul><h3>What youll do</h3><ul><li>Assist with preparing annual accounts for small and medium‑sized companies, ensuring compliance and timely delivery</li><li>Support audit processes and respond to audit queries</li><li>Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and accounts to relevant authorities</li><li>Manage cash book postings and conduct monthly bank reconciliations</li><li>Oversee sales ledger activities, including debtor statement reconciliations</li><li>Liaise with external contacts as needed</li><li>Perform additional finance duties to support the teams objectives</li></ul></div>
