Role Overview: As a Pastoral Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the welfare and development of students, ensuring a positive and supportive school environment. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to foster good behavior, mental well-being, and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support to students in addressing behavioral, emotional, and academic challenges.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
Monitor attendance and punctuality, offering support to students facing difficulties.
Implement strategies to support student well-being and personal development.
Liaise with senior leadership, SENDCO, and external agencies when necessary.
About You:
Experience in a pastoral or student support role, ideally in a school setting.
Strong communication skills with students, staff, and parents.
Empathetic, patient, and able to work with young people facing a range of challenges.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
