The agency network at NFU Mutual is growing and the North East region is key that growth. This is built on the high levels of support and service we give to all of our customers, meaning over 95% of them renew with us year after year. We have won the Which Insurance Brand of the year three years in a row.
As a Partner in the Louth and Alford NFU Mutual Agency, you’ll be part of an insurance business that’s at the heart of the community. You’ll be supporting a wide range of customers, across farming, commercial, high net worth and rural to ensure they get the high levels of service they'd expect from NFU Mutual.
You’ll use your understanding of the rural economy to help build commercial relationships across NFU Mutual’s sectors of expertise.
Using your leadership and management skills, you’ll work with your business partners to shape the business, to enable it to grow further and to maximise its potential.
This is a self-employed role with the support of one of the UK’s largest insurers. You'll have opportunities to develop professionally, to gain new skills and to learn from an already high performing team.
Your experience and ambitions for the future
You'll be working alongside the existing partners at Louth and Alford and will be part of the leadership team that is shaping the business and planning for the future. You’ll use your passion for the commercial market to help create bespoke insurance solutions that meet the needs of the fast-paced insurance world. You’ll be hungry to grow this insurance business whilst also supporting existing customers.
You’ll drive growth within the commercial sector across a range of sectors, working with SME and mid-corp clients, whilst also working with our key farming clients. You’ll achieve this by using your sales and people skills to build strong and lasting relationships.
This self-employed role gives you the opportunity to grow your agency as far as you choose. There is an opportunity for you to really make an impact.

Further support includes sales, marketing, business insurance, financial planning, and risk management services.
Your expected first year earnings are up to £60,000.
