Global Brands Ltd. is a leading independent drinks company that owns, markets, and distributes a collection of beverages across the premium spirit, soft drink, RTD, and beer categories. From Hooch and VK to our premium soft drink brand Franklin & Sons, we have a presence in all retail channels domestically as well as over 70 countries internationally. Our HQ is based within our own hotel CASA in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, with additional office space in London.
We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to join our team of Customer Marketing specialists to look after our National Accounts and take the lead on HORECA.
You will be responsible for creating and executing activation plans tailored to your accounts, working closely with your counterpart in the Sales team. Ensuring our brands are well represented in the eyes of our customers at all times.
We seek candidates who are passionate about on-trade hospitality venues with a strong understanding of executing promotional activities. Our ideal candidate will be a confident communicator with excellent presentation and networking skills, along with strong time management and organizational skills, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Your main responsibilities will include activating our annual brand plans within your assigned accounts, with a focus on:
* Create and execute activation plans suited to your channels to support customer and brand growth objectives
* Ensure the brand is well represented in the eyes of the customer, aligning with sales and customer-specific objectives
* Act as the interface between Marketing and Sales to develop customer-specific campaigns and new product launch plans
* Measure and evaluate activity, demonstrating tangible results and providing future recommendations
* Assist in developing and delivering channel plans to ensure our brands are visible in the right places to the right audiences
Responsibilities
* Work with the data & insight team to interpret data and develop retailer-specific recommendations
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
* Collaborate with account managers to build retailer tenders and activation plans, utilizing the expertise of the Events Team
* Assist in managing the marketing budget to ensure all activations deliver a positive return on investment
* Regularly report on campaign performance and insights to senior management
* Identify challenges and propose solutions proactively
* Coordinate between sales and marketing to meet brand and customer objectives
* Build mutually beneficial relationships with customer counterparts where appropriate
* Spend time in relevant channels to identify opportunities for brand and sales growth across product, promotion, and activation
* Adapt flexibly, including working evenings and weekends, to deliver trade and experiential activities as needed
* Brief POS requests and manage project delivery using Trello within brand guidelines
* Keep the sales team informed about projects and brand plans, creating sales decks aligning brand and channel strategies
* Maintain internal tools to ensure accurate and current data, including Brand and external tools
Key Requirements
* At least 2 years in customer marketing or a related role
* Proven experience in developing and executing activation plans
* Numerate and strong commercial thinker capable of presenting robust insights
* High energy with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
* Strong project management skills and innovative thinking
* A self-starter with a strategic outlook and experience dealing with senior stakeholders
* Willingness to travel nationally, holding a full UK driving license
* Ability to conduct trade visits across the UK, with occasional overnight stays
