Livestock Manager Livestock Manager - Belfast (just off motorway network) - £40,000 The Job: We are recruiting a Livestock Manager (Stud Farm Manager) to lead operations at a modern, high-tech livestock facility based in Belfast. You will have overall responsibility for site performance, livestock management and team leadership, ensuring output and production targets are consistently achieved. Key Responsibilities: - Full oversight of stud farm operations - Driving output and performance targets - Managing livestock health, nutrition and welfare to maximise production - Leading a structured team: Direct management of 2 Team Leaders 7 Indirect leadership of approximately 16 additional team members - Performance management, staff development and workforce planning - Maintaining accurate data recording and using insights to drive improvement - Working closely with the Vet and laboratory team to optimise production - Ensuring high standards of biosecurity, health & safety and animal welfare The Company: Our client operates a modern stud and collection facility serving markets across the UK, Ireland and internationally. Significant investment has been made into SMART farming systems, advanced animal monitoring technology and laboratory capabilities, creating a highly systemised, performance driven environment.
