Property and Tenancy Manager - Croydon Affordable Housing
Croydon Affordable Housing is seeking a proactive and dedicated 'Can Do' Property and Tenancy Manager to join our small team. You will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining relationships with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Founded in 2017 by Croydon Council, Croydon Affordable Housing is a small housing charity managing under 1000 properties, reporting to an independent charity board.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to lead and ensure Croydon Affordable Housing fulfills its duties as a landlord.
You should possess team management skills, as you will oversee a team of three officers. Extensive knowledge of housing legislation, tenancy management, and property compliance is essential, along with a willingness to learn through training opportunities. Collaboration across departments—such as Health and Safety, Compliance, Allocations, Voids, and Income Suppliers—is vital to ensure properties meet British standards and promote tenancy sustainability.
This role emphasizes operational delivery, relationship building, and stakeholder engagement. Strong verbal and written communication skills, creative collaboration, negotiation abilities, and confidence in presenting to senior teams are required.
If you have the relevant skills and experience to support our vision for Croydon Affordable Housing, we would love to hear from you.
