About the Role:
As a Health and Safety professional with us, you will:
1. Offer expertise and advice on health, safety, and wellbeing standards and strategies.
2. Provide assurance about risk management and health and safety legislation.
3. Support managers on risk management, health and safety legislation, policy, and standards.
4. Advise staff on their responsibilities for health, safety, and wellbeing duties.
5. Deliver health and safety audits and workplace inspections.
6. Review accidents and incidents.
7. Prepare and deliver health, safety, and wellbeing training.
8. Review corporate policies and standards.
This role is based in Warwick, but you will be required to travel around the County, engaging with various teams and departments. This travel aspect adds variety to your work and allows you to make a significant impact across the entire County.

Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
23. A NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
24. Membership in the Institution of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH).
25. Recent experience providing professional-level health and safety advice and support, preferably within a large, diverse, and complex organisation.
26. Confidence, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with a wide and varied audience.
27. A flexible approach to work, the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and possess excellent IT skills.
28. The ability to work under your own initiative and be highly organised.
