Senior Bookkeeper
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their fast-growing Accounting Practice in Greater Manchester. Based at our Manchester Head Office, the role is office-based and is conveniently located within walking distance of Metrolink, train, and bus links.
The Role
* Support the management and development of a team, including trainees
* Plan and manage client compliance work
* Prepare accounts, VAT returns, and related submissions
* Manage workflows, deadlines, and work allocation
* Liaise with HMRC and other external bodies
* Handle client queries and attend client meetings
* Report to Senior Managers and contribute to team meetings
About You
1. AAT qualified or ACCA part-qualified
2. Minimum 2 years experience in an accounting practice (essential)
3. Strong experience in bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and accounts preparation
