Position Overview
A well‑established secondary school located close to Farnborough is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to join their Science Department immediately. This full‑time role runs until July 2026, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality Chemistry lessons up to GCSE level, inspiring students to develop confidence, curiosity and strong scientific understanding within a supportive and forward‑thinking department.

What You’ll Be Doing
Teaching Chemistry up to GCSE level, adapting lessons to meet the needs of mixed‑ability groups.
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory‑based lessons that bring Chemistry to life.
Monitoring progress, assessing work and providing constructive feedback.
Creating a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment.
Working collaboratively with the wider Science Department and contributing to whole‑school initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
A qualified teacher with UK QTS (or working towards QTS).
Experience teaching Chemistry at KS3 and KS4.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
A passion for Chemistry and a commitment to inspiring young learners.
Dedication to safeguarding and maintaining high professional standards.
