Job Title: Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance Licence
Location:Rugby, CV21
Pay Rate:£12.71 per hour (The salary would be £24,800/annum which will rise to £26,000/annum upon successful completion of a probation period)
Hours:Monday to Friday, 8:30am 4:30pm
Overtime is very rare
Are you an experienced warehouse operative with a valid Counterbalance (CB) licence? We're currently looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team in a combined warehouse and forklift role.
What We Offer
* A steady Monday to Friday shift no weekend work!
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.71 per hour (The salary would be £24,800/annum which will rise to £26,000/annum upon successful completion of a probation period)
* 30-minute unpaid lunch break and a paid 10-minute morning break
* Two-week Christmas shutdown (stock take on Christmas Eve)
* Minimal overtime, giving you a great work-life balance
About The Role
This is a physically demanding position involving heavy lifting and forklift operation, ideal for those with previous experience in similar environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and unload goods
* Supporting general warehouse duties, including stock rotation and order picking
* Unloading and putting away large deliveries especially during our peak delivery week (2nd week of every month)
* Participating in regular stock takes (including one during the Christmas shutdown)
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance Licence external licences preferred, but we also accept in-house certifications
* Previous warehouse experience and confidence with heavy lifting
* Good understanding of health and safety protocols
* Ability to work around hazardous (boxed) chemicals with appropriate PPE (hi-vis and safety boots required)
Shift Pattern Insights
* Mondays to Wednesdays are the busiest days
* Thursdays are generally quieter
* Fridays are used to prepare the warehouse for the week ahead
