Agile Research Delivery Team Data Manager -B4
Are you highly organised with a strong eye for detail and a keen interest in supporting health and care research?
We are seeking a highly organised, detail-focused individual to join our Agile Research Delivery Team (ARDT), supporting both the collection and the quality of data relating to participants in health and care research within the South East Regional Research Delivery Network.
Main Duties of the Job
* Support the ARDT with routine data management, including collection, transfer, quality control and entry of participant data; assist in preparing trial/study documentation for monitoring visits.
* Act as the primary point of contact for all data-related queries, liaising with stakeholders throughout the life cycle of a research study.
* Assist with participant record maintenance, using Local Project Management Systems (LPMS) to upload, monitor and maintain accurate recruitment records.
* Support ARDT members in delivering multiple concurrent projects and research sites, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to demand.
* Adhere to relevant regulations and the International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), ensuring trial protocols are followed at all times.
* Process data associated with wider care research activity and Service Support Costs (SSCs); collaborate with other RRDN departments to optimise NHS resource utilisation.
Qualifications
* Educated to A level or equivalent.
* NVQ3, foundation degree, or equivalent in a healthcare-related subject, or currently working towards such qualifications.
Knowledge
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Knowledge of the governance and legislative framework for conducting clinical research studies, including ICH GCP.
* Knowledge of trust policy regarding Data Protection—Caldicott Guidelines, Data Protection Act.
* Ability to accurately transfer data from paper to electronic systems.
* Previous experience of data management.
* Good IT skills, particularly with web applications, MS Office and/or Google Workspace applications.
Salary
£29,812 to £32,715 per annum (pro rata), including high-cost area supplements (HCAS)
