About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a full-time History Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school community in the Daventry area. You’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to creating a positive learning environment where every student can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess inspiring History lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
* Foster a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
* Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
* Encourage critical thinking and a deeper understanding of historical concepts and events.
* Track and support student progress through effective feedback.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the History curriculum.
* Contribute to school life through participation in events and extracurricular activities.
About You
* Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* Possess strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History.
* Have the ability to motivate and inspire students.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and classroom management skills.
* Show commitment to continuous professional development.
* Experience teaching GCSE History is desirable but not essential.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check on the update service.
