We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to join our multidisciplinary team at HMP Durham. The role is fast paced and diverse, whilst incredibly rewarding and interesting. You would be joining a unique Prison Healthcare Service providing cover across pathways including Primary Care, Urgent Care, Inpatients, Substance Misuse & Early Days in Custody. You will be accountable for the delivery of the contract including responsibility for monitoring performance and delivery against key performance indicators. This position is a perfect match for someone who is passionate about upholding and advancing exceptional standards of care and service and possesses the capability to motivate and elevate the team through robust clinical supervision and continuous professional growth. You will support the Head of Services by oversight of day to day operations across the Healthcare Department and support with strategic development and service improvement. You do not need prison experience but must have experience in a senior leadership role and have a good understanding of clinical governance.
