Van Drivers – Basildon, Essex
Pay: £13.00–£15.00 per hour, depending on shift
Hours: Monday to Friday | Day and Night shifts available (ad-hoc cover)
We’re recruiting experienced Van Drivers for our client in Basildon, offering weekly pay and on-site parking. This role suits reliable drivers looking for flexible cover shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
You’ll complete daily vehicle checks, ensure all loads are safe and secure, and verify load manifests match what’s onboard. You’ll assist customers with unloading if needed, promptly report incidents, and return all paperwork to the transport office. Refuelling at the end of each shift is required.
What You’ll Need:
* A minimum of 18 months of driving experience
* No more than 6 points on your licence
* Comfortable with manual handling
* Strong reliability and work ethic
* Willingness to start early mornings
* Experience in health and safety procedures
