People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in West Bromwich.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver, or Articulated Lorry Driver.
Shifts
* Days – Monday – Friday: start times between 03:00–06:00
* Nights – Monday – Friday: start times between 16:00–17:00
Rates of Pay:
Days
* £16.49 per hour (basic)
Nights
* £21.85 per hour (basic)

Day-to-Day Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Depot-to-depot trunking routes and trailer swaps
* Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
* Ensuring all loads are secured safely and correctly
* Adhering to traffic laws, company procedures, and delivery schedules
Essential Skills
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
* A valid UK Category CE (Class 1) driving licence
* A minimum of 2 years' Category CE driving experience
* No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
* A valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card

Desirable Experience
* Previous experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver
