Job Title: CNC Punch Technician

We are seeking a skilled CNC Punch Technician to join our dynamic team in Ballykelly.
Job Overview
The successful candidate will operate Trumpf punch machines, ensuring high-quality production of metal parts. Responsibilities include setting up, operating, maintaining equipment, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Configure and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications.
2. Material Handling: Load and feed raw sheet metal materials correctly.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance and resolve machine issues.
5. Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust production processes for optimal output.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
7. Documentation: Keep logs and records of production and maintenance.
8. Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet goals.
9. Tooling Management: Maintain and change punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC machines.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Proficiency with measuring tools like calipers and micrometers.
* Strong troubleshooting skills.
* Attention to detail and quality standards.
* Good communication skills and team orientation.
* Experience in high-volume production environments is advantageous.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, permanent role based in Ballykelly, working 40 hours per week during night shifts on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
