We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2026. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

We’re looking for passionate and dedicated educators who use explicit teaching strategies and excel in positive behaviour support to boost student learning and wellbeing and make a difference in students’ lives.

Suitable applicants will ideally be flexible, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and show a commitment to professional growth and collaborative team planning. You should be adept at self-reflection and continuously seeking ways to enhance your teaching practices. Experience with a range of disabilities and effective strategies for supporting individual development, PBS (Positive Behaviour Supports) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is highly valued.

As a teacher at Gwynne Park ESC, you'll positively lead a team of Education Assistants to foster a safe and nurturing learning space. Engage actively with the school community and work closely with families, therapists, and outside agencies to drive student success.
