Following their recent investment, they are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join and lead their well‑established maintenance team. Role & Responsibilities
* Ensure all activities needed to maintain equipment are executed with high quality, focusing on preventive and predictive maintenance.
* Detect deviations in plant asset performance promptly.
* Ensure safe, efficient, and quality execution of routine maintenance work, through detailed job preparation with the area Engineer.
* Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardisation.
* Inspect equipment and facilities on random or scheduled tours to detect anomalies.
* Provide support to Maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
* Guarantee quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment, inspecting at the supplier or upon arrival at the warehouse.
* Coordinate contractors’ scheduled jobs and monitor task quality.
* Use predictive maintenance techniques, where appropriate, for equipment and component management.
* Review and analyse plant information (SAP, Shift Reports, Alarm Systems).
* Provide detailed work orders that ensure safe and efficient execution of all maintenance work.
* Keep asset documents and drawings updated and organised in their appropriate locations.
* Provide support to Engineering and Production teams with work plan preparation for maximum efficiency and quality.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Degree qualified / Highly proactive, experienced Maintenance/Team Leader.
* Strong mechanical knowledge and skills.
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and associated troubleshooting tools.
* In‑depth knowledge and experience of current plant equipment.
* Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance tools and techniques.
* Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments.
* Ability to work under pressure and find solutions within short time frames.
