B&M are seeking a commercially minded and forward-thinking Strategy Lead to help shape and accelerate the strategic direction of our business. This role will play a pivotal part in identifying growth opportunities, driving strategic initiatives, and delivering actionable insights that enhance business performance across B&M. Working closely with senior leadership, you will combine analytical rigour with pragmatic thinking to solve complex business challenges and turn strategy into execution.
As a trusted advisor to Executive and cross-functional leadership teams, you will lead strategic planning processes, develop data-driven recommendations, and help foster alignment across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to influence at all levels while thriving in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with senior leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities and develop execution plans for major initiatives
* Lead strategic planning processes, including annual and five-year planning cycles
* Conduct market, competitor, and internal business analysis to identify opportunities for growth and value creation
* Develop practical, insight-led recommendations supported by robust data analysis and business cases
* Present strategic recommendations and updates to Executive leadership and key stakeholders
* Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive alignment, engagement, and successful delivery of strategic initiatives
