Job Description
In this role, you'll be a trusted partner to managers, advising on a full range of people matters. You'll work across a broad HR portfolio, providing policy guidance, coaching on employee relations, supporting change programmes, and driving performance and development initiatives.Key responsibilities include:
3. Advising and coaching line managers on HR policies and procedures
4. Managing employee relations cases up to but not including those with employment tribunal risk
5. Supporting organisational change projects, including role profiling and consultation
6. Supporting performance management and development planning
7. Contributing to policy development in line with legislation and best practice
8. Working with the HR team on pay review data and analysis
9. Promoting continuous improvement and best practice across HR services
The Successful Applicant
We're looking for someone who:
10. Is CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)
11. Has strong experience managing ER cases (disciplinary, grievance, capability, sickness)
12. Can confidently coach and guide managers on HR matters
13. Understands employment legislation and can apply it effectively
14. Is an excellent communicator, influencer, and relationship builder
15. Can work at pace and juggle multiple priorities
You must be immediately available or available to start on short notice. Experience in unionised environments or using applicant tracking systems is a bonus.
