Live-in hospitality manager for a luxury eco-tourism destination in North Cornwall.
The Role
We are looking for a full-time, live-in Hamatethy Host to take a leading role in delivering an exceptional guest experience at Wild Hamatethy.
This is a hands-on and varied role combining hospitality, operations and light marketing. You will be responsible for ensuring that each guest’s stay runs seamlessly — from first enquiry through to departure — while helping to shape and refine a distinctive and growing eco-tourism offering.
Working closely with the owners, you will take ownership of the day-to-day running of the guest experience. The role would suit someone who enjoys both looking after people and running a small, high-quality operation with care, independence and attention to detail.
The Destination
Wild Hamatethy is the largest rewilding site in Cornwall, set within a remarkable private estate of woodland, river valleys and moorland edge.
At its heart is a stunning manor house where guests can stay in comfort while experiencing a unique natural landscape. Guests are free to roam the woodland, river valleys and meadows, and will have access to a menu of guided unique nature experiences. These experiences include beaver watching, foraging, white stork talks, bird‑watching safaris and woodland walks through the ancient Atlantic rainforest.
Alongside these experiences we offer yoga, a sauna, and the opportunity to create pots in our ceramics studio.
Our aim is to create a relaxed, memorable and deeply engaging experience of nature.
We are looking for a permanent, full-time Hamatethy Host. This will be someone who shares our passion for hospitality, attention to detail and creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests.
