About the Role:
As Management Accountant at our Head Office, you’ll play a vital role in providing accurate and timely financial information, taking ownership of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting – working closely with the management team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts
· Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
· Conducting variance analysis and making recommendations
· Preparing VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations
· Contributing to continuous improvement of reporting and control processes
· Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and statutory requirements
· Providing support to Holdings Finance Manager and other department managers
About You:
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, driven individual who can see beyond the numbers and add real value to the business.
Essential Skills & Experience:
· Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
· Experience of managing and motivating a team
· Excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to work with high volumes
· Excellent Excel and analytical skills, with strong accuracy and attention to detail
· Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
· Experience in a multi-site retail environment (desirable but not essential)
