We are looking for a talented and strong Chef de Partie or Junior Sous to join our kitchen team where you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation. You will be responsible for managing a variety of sections within the kitchen and work closely with the team to deliver exceptional dishes.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a high standard.
* Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials.
* Ensure all food is prepared in line with food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth service.
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients when necessary.
* Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.
* Maintain a clean and organised workstation.
* Ensure consistency in quality and portion control.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie.
* A solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Passion for cooking and creativity in food presentation.
* Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds, or equivalent) preferred.
