Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the existing Mandatory Training Team in the role of a Bank Resuscitation Trainer.
The successful candidate will have experience of direct patient care, a passion for high quality moving and handling and a teaching/training qualification or willingness to work towards one.
You will be delivering basic life support training to staff, bringing your passion for teaching and your desire to make a meaningful impact in our community.
This will include training in the classroom as well as training and support within the workplace.
Main Duties
* Be involved in the delivery of basic life support training to the workforce at all levels which will include physically demonstrating various pieces of equipment and techniques, including CPR at ground level.
* To be responsible for delivering and evaluating an efficient and effective Mandatory and Statutory training programme to all staff.
* Work with administrative colleagues to contribute to the effective timetabling and running of the Mandatory and Statutory training at Sirona sites and a range of external community venues, attending in person wherever possible, ensuring staff are welcomed and the training sessions run smoothly.

Job Responsibilities
* Deliver basic life support training to staff in both classroom and workplace settings.
* Lead practical demonstrations, including CPR and use of equipment.
* Design, deliver and evaluate Mandatory and Statutory training programmes.
* Collaborate with administration to schedule and run training sessions at Sirona sites and external venues.
* Maintain accurate records and data for training programmes.
* Be available for at least one shift every three months to remain on the bank.
Person Specification
Essential
* Educated to GCSE level or above.
* Relevant experience of delivering training.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Previous experience of delivering training and assessing in Learning and Organisational Development, training/education or HR environment.
* Experience of collating and reviewing data from a variety of sources.
* Highly effective organisational skills and excellent time management.
* Experience of evaluating and providing feedback on training effectiveness.
Desirable
* Teaching qualification or training membership – expectation to complete a training qualification in post (e.g., CEAT Level 4).
* Experience of the NHS or health/social care employment.
* Understanding of delivering training provision and reporting of KPIs.
* Experience of a range of learning programmes and career pathways to enhance career development and progression.
