Bank Catering & Housekeeping Assistant (dual role)
Location: Ashtead Hospital, Surrey
Hours: Flexible, zero-hour contract
Hourly Rate: £ an hour
The role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Bank Catering & Housekeeping Assistant to join our fantastic team at Ashtead Hospital. The successful candidate will work across the Housekeeping and Catering departments. Specifically, this role will mainly be to work in the ward pantry areas taking food orders from patients and serving.
What you'll bring with you:
1. Previous experience of housekeeping and food service duties
2. Experience within a hospital environment (desirable)
3. Methodical and vigilant personality
4. Excellent customer services skills
5. Ability to work on your own initiative
6. Flexibility with the availability and willingness to work
7. Good attention to detail to maintain our high standards
8. Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (if not already held company funded training must be undertaken)
9. A good understanding of Hospital Infection prevention processes (desirable or required)
