An exciting opportunity has arisen for a position within the Medical Equipment Management Service at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, to support the delivery of a medical equipment management service.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for the management of external contracts for maintenance and repair of medical equipment within NHS Lothian.
Responsibilities
* Support contract administration and scheduling for maintenance and repair services.
* Coordinate with service providers and internal teams to ensure timely service delivery.
* Maintain accurate records, documentation and reports related to contract performance.
* Assist with day‑to‑day running of the service and collaborate with colleagues to achieve service targets.
* Travel to various hospitals in Lothian as required.
Qualifications
* Education: HND level in a business administration discipline or equivalent training and experience.
* Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work effectively within a team.
* Permanent position based at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
* Post holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record for the required regulatory group.
* May require a different level of criminal records check due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025.
