Apprenticeship job title: Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer Apprentice (Level 4 Higher Apprentice)
The City of Wolverhampton Council is looking for an Apprentice to promote and support the work and services of the Licensing team. This opportunity may be of interest to someone who enjoys a varied role in a fast paced environment.
The apprenticeship programme, in conjunction with on-the-job training, is designed to take learners from a standing start to a highly skilled professional who will add real value to the organisation and team and help to demonstrate compliance competence. It develops the knowledge, skills, and behaviours needed to perform, monitor, and support key regulatory compliance activities within the organisation.
We are seeking a flexible and committed individual who has excellent communication skills, attention to detail and commitment to completing the apprenticeship training. The successful candidate will work in a busy team with a varied workload.
Responsibilities
The apprentice will:
* Support the Licensing team and promote its work and services.
* Engage in on-the-job training to develop regulatory compliance knowledge and skills.
* Help perform regulatory compliance activities within the organisation and monitor progress under supervision.
* Work as part of a busy team with a varied workload in a fast-paced public sector environment.
Contract and Remuneration
* Fixed term contract for 18 months
* Salary: £24,735
* Hours: 37 hours per week
Qualifications and Requirements
Important information:
* Non-UK Nationals: You must have resided in the UK for the last three years.
* If you have previous qualifications in a similar area, contact the People Development and Experience Team to check eligibility.
* If you have maths and English qualifications overseas, you must provide an ENIC certificate to be eligible for the role.
* Check the essential criteria for the role, particularly the mandatory English and mathematics grades. Failure to state your achieved grades may result in rejection.
